Champak Jain of Venus passed away today (31st October) in Bombay following cardiac arrest. He was 52. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
Champak was one of the seven brothers of the Jain family who owned Venus and also produced a number of films under the banners of United Seven and United Seven International.
Champak was in the Venus office, chatting with his brothers and cousins when he collapsed all of a sudden and passed away.
Champak’s funeral will be held tomorrow (1st November) at 11 a.m. at the Santacruz crematorium in Bombay.
