Shahid Kapoor injured the inside of his lower lip on 10th January in Chandigarh where he was shooting for cricket film Jersey. The cricket ball hit his face and he sustained a cut on his lower lip on the inside. He had to be administered 15 stitches. Shooting of the remake of the Telugu film of the same name had to be cancelled soon after he was injured.
Shahid will not be able to resume shooting for three to four more days as his lip is swollen. Jersey will release in August this year.
