Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani will be staged as a live musical soon. Rajniesh Duggal will essay the role of Bajirao, which was played by Ranveer Singh in the film. Shailja Nalwade and Anusua Majumdar, two Kathak dancers, will play Mastani and Kashibai respectively. The stage-play will be directed by Maitreyee Pahari. Kathak maestro Pandit Birju Maharaj will be the creative director.
