SONU SOOD TO OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS TO UNDERPRIVILEGED STUDENTS | 12 September, 2020

After helping thousands of migrant labourers reach their villages during the COVID-19 pandemic, and hundreds of labourers reach their homes in villages of Maharashtra from Bombay to celebrate the Ganpati festival with their families, Sonu Sood has now decided to offer scholarship to deserving but underprivileged students who don’t have the resources for further studies. He has tied up with various universities to provide scholarships to students. The scholarship, to be given in the name of his mother, will take care of the fees for advanced education, hostel accommodation and food. Sonu’s late mother, Prof. Saroj Sood, used to teach students in Moga (Punjab) for free.
