The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) yesterday (25th October) arrested television and film actress Preetika Chauhan while she was accepting 99 grams of ganja from a drug peddler, Faisal Yasin Shaikh, at Andheri (Bombay). The NCB is probing the drugs angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Both, Preetika and Shaikh, were booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and produced before a holiday court which remanded them to NCB custody till November 8.
The NCB later detained one Deepak Rathaur on suspicion of having supplied ganja to Shaikh.
