The Juhu (Bombay) police summoned Kangana Ranaut again in the defamation case filed by Javed Akhtar. She was asked to appear before the police today (January 22) as an inquiry had been ordered by the magistrate in December 2020.
It may be recalled that writer-lyricist-poet Javed Akhtar had filed a criminal complaint against the actress for making allegedly defamatory comments against him in an interview on Republic TV.
