Actor Ajaz Khan was yesterday (31st March) arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection with a drug syndicate case, a day after he was detained at the domestic airport on arrival in Bombay from Jaipur. He was produced before the Esplanade magistrate court which remanded him to NCB custody till April 2. He was booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act as the NCB had recovered Alprazolam tablets during a search at his Yari Road residence on 30th March. Ajaz’s name had cropped up last week after the NCB arrested two persons from whom they recovered large quantities of drugs, cash and high-end cars.
