Singer and former Union minister Babul Supriyo quit the BJP and joined the Trinamool Congress party yesterday (18th September). The move came hours after the Union home ministry reduced his security category from ‘Z’ to ‘Y’ through an order. The TMC welcomed Supriyo to its fold.
