The Carnival chain of multiplexes is in trouble once again. The distributors of Pushpa: The Rise Part 1 (dubbed) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (English and dubbed) pulled out their films from the chain’s multiplexes due to default in payment of their shares.
Earlier, Sooryavanshi was also discontinued from the group’s multiplexes for a day or two till the group promised not to default in payments. After the running films were discontinued from some properties of Carnival last week, they have had to shut down because of lack of playing programmes.
Reportedly, some owners have forcefully taken back their cinemas in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Ghaziabad, Madras, Jodhpur and other cities from Carnival due to this!
