With the Omicron variant situation easing a bit in India, producers are already re-planning the release schedules of their films, which went awry due to the cinema closure, weekend curfews and cinema capacity restrictions in various parts of the country. The producers of RRR have reserved two tentative release dates — 18th March and 28th April.
If the pandemic situation in the country gets better and if all theatres open up to operate at full capacity, S.S. Rajamouli’s film will release on 18th March. If that does not happen by mid-March, the multi-starrer will hit the screens on 28th April.
