With Coronavirus cases in the capital city dropping, cinemas in Delhi are all set to reopen, although at 50% capacity only. A decision to this effect, and to ease other curbs enforced during the Omicron surge, was taken today (January 27) at a meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority, in which the Delhi government and Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal were present.
The weekend curfew has also been lifted. However, the curfew between 10 p.m. every day and 5 a.m. the following day will continue.
