Popular Telugu web series actress Gayathri passed away in Hyderabad in a car accident on 18th March. The Internet sensation-turned-actress was 26 years old. She was returning with her friend late on 18th night after playing Holi. Her friend was driving the car. While Gayathri a.k.a. Dolly D’Cruze died on the spot, the friend was taken to the hospital in a serious condition but he succumbed to his injuries on reaching the hospital.
Gayathri’s friend reportedly lost control of the car because of which it hit a road divider and overturned. A pedestrian was caught underneath the car and also died.
Gayathri attained initial fame through her YouTube channel. She became more popular with Telugu web series Madam Sir Madam Anthe.
