The Bandra (Bombay) police on June 6 recorded the statement of Salman Khan before he left for Hyderabad, in the case of the anonymous letter written to issue threats to him and his writer-father, Salim Khan. The letter was found by Salim Khan’s security staff, on a bench at the Bandra Bandstand promenade on June 5 when Salim Khan had gone for his regular walk to the promenade. The anonymous letter threatened the father-son duo that they would meet the fate of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala who was gunned down by unidentified people in Mansa district of Punjab on May 29.
The Bandra police have registered a case of criminal intimidation against unknown persons.
