The Ahmedabad crime branch on June 9 approached a court in the city seeking an order to social media platform Twitter to delete a photograph showing home minister Amit Shah with tainted Jharkhand IAS officer Pooja Singhal, posted by Bombay-based filmmaker Avinash Das.
Das was booked last month for dishonouring the national flag and spreading allegedly fake news after he posted on social media a picture of a semi-nude lady wearing the Indian tricolour, and also a photograph showing IAS officer Pooja Singhal whispering into the home minister’s ears.
