After Shilpa Shetty’s businessman-husband Raj Kundra, actress Gehana Vasisth has moved the magistrate’s court seeking discharge in a porn case. She was earlier arrested in the case and has been out on bail.
In her plea, Gehana said that she had been wrongly framed. She added that the entire chargesheet was based on mere allegations without any substantial proof or evidence. “The applicant states that she is a director who makes erotic movies which are very well permissible in India… for publication on internet, there is no censorship in India for OTT platform,” Gehana’s plea said. It added that as a director, she was a content maker, and not a distributor.
