One person died in a bizarre fight over two stars at Attili village in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh on April 21. According to reports, two persons were involved in an argument over a WhatsApp status.
The accused, Harikumar, and the deceased, Kishore, were painters from Eluru city and had come to Attili in search of work. Harikumar is the secretary of Prabhas Fans Association of Eluru while Kishore was a fan of Pawan Kalyan.
After work, the duo went to have liquor when Kishore saw a photograph of Prabhas as Harikumar’s WhatsApp status, and demanded that he put up a picture of Pawan Kalyan instead. The two got into an argument over the subject. Enraged by Kishore’s remarks, Harikumar attacked him with an iron rod and a cement stone. Kishore was severely injured and died on the spot.
On receiving the information, a team of local police reached the spot and started investigations. Harikumar was arrested and a case was registered by the police.
