The Kerala Story joined the Rs. 100-crore club in the second weekend as it did outstanding business, better than even in the first weekend which itself was phenomenal. Collections were pretty impressive during the weekdays too. The second weekend started with a take of Rs. 12.35 crore on Friday. Collections soared to Rs. 19.50 crore on Saturday, and further to Rs. 23.76 crore on Sunday, taking the second weekend’s total to an astounding Rs. 55.61 crore. The first weekend’s total was Rs. 32.94 crore. Collections for the weekdays in 2nd week were: Monday – Rs. 10.30 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 9.45 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 8.03 crore, Thursday – Rs. 7 crore. In this way, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 34.78 crore. Total for 2nd week: Rs. 90.39 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 166.10 crore.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 (dubbed and the original English versions) started its second weekend with a take of Rs. 2 crore on Friday. Collections on Saturday and Sunday increased to Rs. 3.66 crore and Rs. 3.80 crore respectively, taking the second weekend’s total to Rs. 9.46 crore. Collections for the weekdays were on the lower side: Monday – Rs. 1.20 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 1.15 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 1.08 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.50 crore. Therefore, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 3.93 crore, and for 2nd week, Rs. 13.39 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 47.39 crore.
Ponniyin Selvan-2 (dubbed) is on its last lap. It netted only Rs. 60 lakh in 3rd week. Grand total for 3 weeks: Rs. 17.99 crore.
Bushirt T-Shirt (Gujarati) continued its victory march in 2nd week too all over Gujarat and Saurashtra.
Le Shuru Hoge Maya Ke Kahani (Chhattisgarhi) is going great guns at the box-office. It collected excellently in 2nd week in C.P. Berar.
