‘MEHROOM THE DEPRIVED’ REVIEW | 9 June, 2023

Released last week in East Punjab (at Jammu), Bharti Films’ Mehroom The Deprived is a poor show all the way.

If Pankaj S. Khajuria’s script is weak, his direction is no better. Music and lyrics (Pankaj S. Khajuria) are below the standard. Chandan’s background music is average. Sanjay Kapoor’s cinematography is below the mark. Vinod Sharma’s production designing is very ordinary. Editing (Prashant Singh) is loose.

Performances are dull, generally speaking. Sonali Nikam, Amit Bhargava, Radhika Sharma, Kusum Tickoo, Ishu Sharma and Irfan Choudhary hardly impress.

On the whole, Mehroom The Deprived will be deprived of a release in most parts of India because it lacks merits.
