Actress Gayatri Joshi (Swades) and her builder-husband, Vikas (Vicky) Oberoi, were involved in a terrible road accident in South Sardinia, Italy yesterday (October 3) but both are out of danger. According to Vicky, their car skidded off the road but they were safe. However, two persons in another car died.
Vicky was a part of a group of sports car drivers. He was in a blue Lamborghini which smashed into a trailer ahead of it. At the same time, a couple in a red Ferrari also tried to overtake the trailer on the narrow road but the car overturned and caught fire, killing both the occupants. According to reports, Vicky and Gayatri were rushed to a hospital for treatment. A video showed what appeared to be a blue Lamborghini, being crushed under the trailer.
