Actor Rituraj Singh breathed his last today (20th February) at 12.30 a.m. in Bombay following cardiac arrest. He was 59. He is survived by his wife and two children. The actor had been admitted to hospital some time back for treatment of a pancreatic ailment. He had been discharged from hospital but complications developed thereafter.
His body will be kept as his residence (601, 602, Shiv Jyoti, off Yari Road, Panch Marg, Versova, Andheri West, Bombay-61) tomorrow at 9 a.m.. The last rites will be performed tomorrow at 10.30 a.m. at the Oshiwara Hindu Cemetery, Jogeshwari West, Bombay.
Rituraj Singh was very recently seen in popular television serial Anupamaa. His other memorable TV serials are Banegi Apni Baat, Hitler Didi, Shapath, Adaalat and Diya Aur Baati Hum. Among the films he had worked in was Badrinath Ki Dulhania. He was a familiar face in films, TV serials and OTT shows. His OTT shows included Bandish Bandits, Made In Heaven and Indian Police Force. Rituraj and Shah Rukh Khan had trained in Barry John’s Theatre Action Group.
