Hours after he posted a long ‘suicide note’ on Facebook, actor Sandeep Nahar was found dead at Goregaon West in Bombay yesterday (15th February). He was 32 years old and although there were ligature marks on his neck, the police could not confirm whether he had died by hanging. Sandeep had acted in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story and Kesari.
He had also uploaded a video on social media, in which he spoke about his failing marriage. He mentioned in his ‘suicide note’ that in the past two years, his wife had threatened to commit suicide a hundred times. He also said, his wife did not respect him and abused him. He, however, added that his wife should not be blamed for his death. The ‘note’ also makes a mention of how difficult it was to survive in Bollywood because of the “politics” in the industry.
By the time the video and his Facebook post was brought to the notice of the police who swung into action to track him down, Sandeep had already died.
