Senior actress Suhasini Deshpande passed away today (27th August) in Pune. Her last rites will be performed tomorrow (28th) at Vaikunth Smashan Bhoomi in Pune.
Suhasini Deshpande was a very well-known name in Marathi cinema but she also acted in Bollywood films. Singham (2011) was her last Hindi film. Among her well-known Marathi films are Manacha Kunku, Katha, Aaj Zhale Mukt Mee, Aai Shapath and Chiranjeev. She was also seen in Dhondhi, Chhand Priticha and Baakaal in the latter years of her acting career.
