Telugu films’ superstar Allu Arjun addressed a press conference in Bombay at PVR Juhu this afternoon (16th December), a day before the release of his Pushpa which has been dubbed in Hindu. Accompanying Allu were his film’s leading lady, Rashmika Mandana, and music director, Devi Sri Prasad. Manish Shah, who has produced the dubbed Hindi version, was also present.
The film’s electrifying trailer and one song (‘Jaago jaago bakre’) were screened. The song stood out as much for its catchy tune as for its lyrics (Raqueeb Alam) and eye-filling choreography.
South film stars generally don’t address the media in Bombay even if their films are dubbed in Hindi. Allu Arjun made a welcome departure from tradition and, if what he said at the press meet is anything to go by, the Bombay media should get to see him more often in the coming times.
