The third largest exhibition chain in the world, Cinepolis Cinemas, debuted in the UAE earlier this week, with a 10-screen multiplex in Oasis Mall in Sharjah. The multiplex has play facilities for kids, including bean bag seating, a slide and a ball pit.
The ten screens are in three formats — Junior, Macro and Premium. The Macro screen auditorium can seat 269 patrons and is double the size of the average screen auditorium.
The Mexico-based Cinepolis Cinemas chain operates 6,500 screens across Mexico, the US, Brazil, Spain and India.
