The Election Commission has asked the Bengal police to lodge an FIR against the organisers of actor and BJP member Mithun Chakraborty’s rally at Malda’s Baishnabnagar yesterday (24th April) for violating the model code of conduct. The rally also violated the stipulation that no poll event should have more than 500 participants.
