Actor Faraaz Khan passed away this morning at the hospital in Bangalore, where he was undergoing treatment for a neurological disorder. He was 46 years old.
Faraaz had acted in films like Fareb (1996), Mehndi (1998), Dulhan Banoo Main Teri (1999) and Chand Bujh Gaya (2005).
Faraaz Khan’s family and Pooja Bhatt (whose father, Mahesh Bhatt, introduced Faraaz in Fareb) had, some weeks back, put out appeals for financial assistance for the actor’s treatment. Salman Khan had spoken to Faraaz’s brother, Fahmaan, and had volunteered to bear the hospitalisation and treatment cost.
Pooja Bhatt tweeted this morning: “With a heavy heart, I break the news that #FaraazKhan has left us for what I believe, is a better place. Gratitude to all for your help & good wishes when he needed it most. Please keep his family in your thoughts & prayers. The void he has left behind will be impossible to fill.”
