Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman met a film delegation today (January 22) in Delhi. Star-MP Sunny Deol accompanied the delegation comprising Sanjeev Bijli and Kamal Gianchandani of PVR, and others. The industry people sought relief from the government in view of the back-breaking losses suffered by the exhibition sector due to the pandemic lockdown. The finance minister assured the delegation of relief measures as proposed by it.
