Javed Akhtar has been invited by the most prestigious Atheist Conference, CSICon (Centre for Inquiry and Skeptical Inquirer magazine). It will be held shortly in Las Vegas and will be attended by more than 10,000 people. The writer-lyricist-poet-author will be felicitated with a personalised oil portrait and will make a short speech on the occasion. Javed is the only Asian to have been bestowed this honour.
It may be recalled that in 2020, Javed Akhtar had been felicitated with the Richard Dawkins award for the promotion of secularism and rationalism and for upholding scientific truth.
