Well-known mimicry artiste and actor Madhav Moghe passed away today (11th July) in Bombay. He was 68. He had been diagnosed with last-stage lung cancer earlier this month. Madhav was hospitalised after he was detected with cancer but was brought home a day before his end.
Madhav Moghe was a very popular mimicry artiste and was especially known for mimicking Thakur from Sholay, a role made memorable by Sanjeev Kumar. He made his acting debut with Damini and then went on to act in such films as Ghatak, Vinashak and Partner.
