In view of the unfortunate terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Kashmir earlier this week, the Marathi state film awards function, scheduled for April 25 (today), has been postponed. The awards show, organised by the department of cultural affairs of Maharashtra, was to be held at the NSCI Dome in Bombay.
Besides the Marathi film awards, the Lata Mangeshkar Award, the Raj Kapoor Award and the V. Shantaram Award for 2024 were to be given at the awards event. A new date for the show will be announced in due course.
