Dr. Ajay Murdia, Vikram Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt on August 12 announced a slate of four films to be made under the banner of Indira Entertainment, at a party held at JW Marriott, Juhu, Bombay.
Tumko Meri Kasam, inspired by the life of Dr. Ajay Murdia (founder of the nationwide chain of fertility clinics under the brand name of Indira IVF), will be directed by Vikram Bhatt. It will star Anupam Kher, Esha Deol, Adah Sharma and Ishwak Singh. Tu Meri Puri Kahaani is written by Mahesh Bhatt and will be directed by Suhrita Das. Anu Malik scores the music. Vikram Bhatt will direct Viraat which is set in 1911 and is the story of a Maa Sherawali temple in North India, which the British rulers want to raze to build a railroad but are unable to do so because a majestic tiger (Viraat) comes in the way. The tiger is Maa Sherawali’s vaahan. Rann will also be directed by Vikram Bhatt. A period drama set in 1669, it is the story of the unsung hero of Mewar, Rana Raj Singh, and his wife, Charumati.
