MNS PARTY ACTIVISTS BEAT UP FOUR FOR MOLESTING ACTRESS | 30 July, 2021

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) party activists thrashed four persons, including a woman, who allegedly lured and molested a 24-year-old film actress on 29th July on the pretext of getting her a role in a Hindi film. The actress shared her location on Ghodbunder Road (in Bombay) when she was allegedly molested. She had informed her mother about the offer earlier. The mother then told the MNS functionaries who reached the spot and beat up the four accused. The Kasarvadavali police arrested the four the same night and also retrieved a country-made revolver. An offence under sections 354 (assault or use of criminal force on any woman intending to outrage her modesty), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 34 (common intention) of the IPC and also relevant sections of the Arms Act was registered against them.

The accused arrested were identified as Rahul Tiwari, his sister, Kanchan Yadav, Rakesh Yadav and Biralal Yadav.
