Music composer and singer Mohinderjit Singh passed away on 25th July in Bombay. He had been unwell since six months and was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
Mohinderjit Singh had scored music for films, TV serials and albums. Among the films for which he gave music were Marhi Da Deeva (Punjabi), Hindola and Diksha. He played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of Jagjit Singh and Anup Jalota.
