The Chembur (Bombay) police visited Ranveer Singh’s home on August 12 with a summons over his nude photographs posted on social media. They were told that the actor will be out of town till August 16.
They will visit him on his return and ask him to appear before them on August 22.
The Chembur police on August 9 booked Ranveer under IPC sections 292 (for sale of obscene books), 293 (for sale of obscene objects to young people), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and under section 67(A) of the Information Technology Act.
