The Bombay police have stepped up the security of Salman Khan after he received a threat e-mail on 18th March on behalf of gangster Goldy Brar. The mail, sent by one Rohit Garg, referred to an interview of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to a television news channel, stating that he would kill the actor. The threat mail had led the cops to register an FIR on 18th against Bishnoi, Brar and Rohit Garg.
Two API-rank officers and eight to 10 constables will now be part of Salman’s security round the clock. The police have also said that fans will not be allowed to assemble outside the star’s residence in Galaxy Apartments, Band Stand, Bandra, Bombay.
