The Marathi version of Randeep Hooda’s Swatantrya Veer Savarkar will be released from tomorrow (Saturday, March 30) in Maharashtra. The film was made in Hindi and Marathi, the latter because Veer Savarkar was a freedom fighter from Maharashtra. While the Hindi version of the film hit the screens last week, the Marathi version will be released by Zee this week, from March 30, to be specific.
Since the Hindi version has not done too well, Zee plans to replace it by the Marathi version in predominantly Marathi-speaking areas.
