A diamond earring valued at Rs. 1 lakh, Rs. 35,000 cash and US $500, stolen from Poonam Dhillon’s home recently, were recovered by the Khar (Bombay) police. The robber was arrested on January 6.
A painter, Sameer Ansari, was working at the Khar West residence of the actress. He noticed that a cupboard was open and had a bag containing the aforementioned items. He stole them and later spent Rs. 9,000 out of the cash, to host a party for the colleagues who were working with him.
