Distributors of Border 2 and the cinemas which have been booked for screening the film are on tenterhooks. For, even at this minute, the content of the film is not ready. With barely 10-12 hours remaining for shows to start tomorrow (January 23), there is confusion all over India about the exact status.
UFO Moviez and other delivery platforms have conveyed to the film’s territorial distributors and exhibitors that there is likely to be a further delay in the downloading process. A senior trade person, wishing to remain anonymous, told Information, “The content is expected by midnight… Given the content status, morning shows look very difficult.”
Meanwhile, UFO Moviez has informed the cinemas that the download of Border 2 will still take some more hours to start! The content of a lengthy film (running time is 3 hours and 20 minutes) like this would take more than three hours, probably four. The formal WhatsApp message to exhibitors reads: “Dear All, Download of Border 2 will start at 6.30 a.m. tentatively on 23 January, 2026. Please keep the system ON. Thanks. UFO MOVIEZ.”
