PVR Cinemas recently opened a five-screen multiplex in Bangalore at the Orion Uptown Mall on Old Madras Road (OMR). The multiplex has BARCO RGB-plus laser projectors, the first of their kind in Karnataka.
With this multiplex, PVR has a total of 841 screens spread across 176 properties in 71 cities of the country. In Karnataka alone, PVR has more than 100 screens. The new multiplex is spread over an area of 22,906 sq. ft. and has a total seating capacity of 876.
