Ghazal singer Rajendra Mehta passed away at his Peddar Road residence in Bombay on 13th November. The famous singer had sung an immortal nazm, ‘Tum mujh se milne shama jalakar, Taj Mahal mein aa jana’, which was later picturised on Farooque Shaikh and Surinder Kaur in Yahan Wahan.
Mehta was cremated at Chandanwadi crematorium by his son, Neeraj.
