The much-awaited trailer of Chhichhore is out. And it is indeed a wonderful trailer. The film’s title gives the impression that it would be a fun film all the way but the interesting and highly-engaging trailer suggests that the film also abounds in emotions. In fact, it wouldn’t be incorrect to say that excerpts of a couple of scenes in the trailer give the viewer goosebumps because of their emotional quotient. Comedy, which is evident through a good part of the trailer, and emotions invariably make for a deadly combination in a film. And fun and tears seem to be the two pillars on which Nitesh Tiwari’s latest film rests. Going by the trailer, music seems to be another plus point of the film on friendship. Incidentally, the producers and director have chosen the right day to release its trailer. For, what could have been a better day than Friendship Day to release the trailer of a film that celebrates friendship.
Besides the superb trailer, what also gives one hope of a box-office winner in Chhichhore is the fact that the film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala (whose track record in recent years has been enviable) and Fox Star Studios (the studio, too, has been associated with some big hits) and it is directed by Tiwari who has given India its biggest blockbuster so far, in Dangal.
Chhichhore stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Sharma. Its music is composed by Pritam Chakraborty.
