The Madhya Pradesh high court has issued Kareena Kapoor Khan and six others a notice on a plea seeking registration of a case against her for using the word ‘Bible’ in the name of her book on pregnancy, thereby allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of Christians. The high court issued the order on May 9 to serve notices to the respondents, including the publishers and sellers, within seven days. It wants to know why the word ‘Bible’ was used in the book’s title — Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Pregnancy Bible.
The petition was filed by advocate Christopher Anthony from Jabalpur in 2022.
