Sakshi Mehra was elected president of the Motion Pictures Association (MPA) unopposed on 13th September in Delhi. G.D. Mehta and Sanjay Ghai were elected vice presidents while Sanjay Mehta was elected hon. treasurer. Joginder Kumar Mahajan was elected hon. general secretary, and Rajendar Singh and Surinder Paul were elected hon. joint secretaries. All the office-bearers were elected unanimously. The other eight executive committee members, also elected unopposed, are: Brijesh Tandon, Deep Jain, Girish Kapoor, Gurmeet Singh Seble, Harinder Singh Malhotra, Praveen Trikha, Pranav Garg and Rakesh Kumar Jain.
