Border 2 took a flying start and ruled the box-office in the first week. Collections on the first four days were especially extraordinary. The Republic Day holiday on 26th January gave a solid boost to the collections on the fourth day. The film started wonderfully with a take of Rs. 29 crore on Friday. Collections on Saturday increased to Rs. 36 crore. The jump on Sunday was extraordinary so that the day closed at Rs. 50 crore. The film fared the best on Monday due to the Republic Day holiday with a net collection of Rs. 55 crore. Hence the first 4-day weekend closed at an earth-shattering Rs. 170 crore. Collections for the weekdays were: Tuesday – Rs. 20 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 13 crore, Thursday – Rs. 10.75 crore. In this way, the total for the 3 weekdays was Rs. 43.75 crore. Hence the total for 1st week was Rs. 213.75 crore.

Mercy (dubbed) did below average business in the first week all over.
Avatar: Fire And Ash (dubbed and the original English versions) dropped around 70% but still managed to stay afloat in its sixth week. It netted Rs. 0.85 crore in the sixth weekend, and Rs. 0.65 crore during the weekdays (including Monday, which was a holiday due to Republic Day). In this way, the sixth week closed at Rs. 1.50 crore. Grand total for 6 weeks: Rs. 206.55 crore.

Dhurandhar managed to record respectable numbers in its eighth week too, in spite of the formidable opposition of new release Border 2. The eighth weekend began with a net collection of Rs. 0.65 crore on Friday. Collections on Saturday and Sunday increased to Rs. 1.25 crore and Rs. 1.70 crore respectively. After a weekend total of Rs. 3.60 crore, collections for the weekdays were as follows: Monday (Republic Day holiday) – Rs. 1.55 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.60 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.50 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.50 crore. In this way, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 3.15 crore. Therefore, the total for 8th week was Rs. 6.75 crore. Grand total for 8 weeks: Rs. 792.90 crore. If the block bookings of the first day are taken into account, the grand total for 8 weeks would be Rs. 797.90 crore.

Krantijyoti Vidyalay Marathi Madhyam (Marathi) is rock-steady. It did excellent business in the fourth week too.
