To find a long-lasting solution to the problem of revenue-sharing, facing the Telugu film industry, the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce has formed a sub-committee of producers, distributors and exhibitors. The sub-committee, comprising seven members from each of the three sectors, will deliberate on the issue, hold discussions and hopefully arrive at a consensus formula.
Earlier, the Active Telugu Film Producers Guild refused to accept the percentage sharing model of 60-50-40 proposed by the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, terming it “unilateral”.
The seven members from each sector, nominated on the sub-committee are:-
Producers: Y. Surendar Reddy, Y. Supriya, Y. Ravi Shankar, B. Bapineedu, Cherukuri Sudhakar, G. Srinivas Kumar and T. Prasanna Kumar.
Distributors: D. Vishnu Murthy, V. Veerinaidu, N. Sudhakar Reddy, Mutyala Ramdas, N. Nagarjuna, B. Madhusudan Reddy and Dheeraj Mogilineni.
Exhibitors: V. Pratap Reddy, T. Balgovind Raj, K. Anupam Reddy, P. Srinivas Rao, G. Veeranarayana Babu, K. Vamsi Kishore and M. Vijandar Reddy.
