Suriya’s Karuppu opened so extraordinarily in Overseas territories this week that it has broken most of the previous records of the actor’s films abroad. It grossed US $4.5 million in the opening weekend Overseas, making it the biggest Suriya grosser in Middle East, North America (except Tamil film 24 Telugu), UK, Europe, Australia (4 days), Malaysia and Singapore.
The film, written and directed by R.J. Balaji, has been released in Overseas circuit by Phars Film. It is produced by S.R. Prakash Babu and S.R. Prabhu.
