Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik have assured the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) that they will not participate in stage shows in the USA as they were being organised by a Pakistani national. Just last week, Diljit Dosanjh had cancelled his US shows for the same reason. Before that, Salman Khan had cancelled his stage shows in different cities of the USA.
Ever since relations between India and Pakistan have been strained, the industry has issued a diktat that Indian stars and singers should not associate with any Pakistani national. The FWICE had issued notices to Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik, asking them to refrain from participating in the shows of the Pakistani organisers in November.
