Laal Kaptaan met with a disastrous fate in the very first week. If its start was poor, its collections thereafter were no better. It opened with a net collection of Rs. 0.50 crore. Collections on Saturday went up only marginally, to Rs. 0.60 crore. The figure for Sunday was the same, Rs. 0.60 crore, which sealed the film’s fate if it was not already sealed. After a weekend total of Rs. 1.70 crore, collections dipped to Rs. 0.23 crore on Monday. Collections on the remaining days of the week were as follows: Tuesday – Rs. 0.18 crore, Wednesday – 0.14 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.11 crore. By adding Rs. 0.66 crore to its kitty in the weekdays, it took its total for the first week to Rs. 2.36 crore only.

Ghost also fared poorly in the first week. It started on a rather dull note by netting Rs. 0.30 crore on Friday. Collections increased by Rs. 10 lakh on Saturday and another Rs. 10 lakh over Saturday’s total, on Sunday. In other words, the film netted Rs. 0.40 crore on Saturday, and Rs. 0.50 crore on Sunday. Hence its total for the first weekend was Rs. 1.20 crore only. The collections for the weekdays were worse: Monday – Rs. 0.20 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.16 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.11 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.09 crore. In this way, the film collected Rs. 0.56 crore in the weekdays and took its total for the first week to Rs. 1.76 crore.

P Se Pyaar F Se Farraar recorded miserable collections in the first week all over.

Hashtag Yaaram proved to be a disaster in the first week.

Jacqueline I Am Coming proved to be a debacle in the first week.

Junction Varanasi recorded horrendous collections in 1st week.

Life Mein Time Nahi Hai Kisi Ko seemed to prove its title as hardly anyone had the time (and the inclination) to watch it in its first week.

Kirket got out for a duck. It fared very poorly in the first week.

Officer Arjun Singh IPS sank without a trace in its first week.

Love Shots got absolutely no love from the audience in 1st week.

Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil (dubbed) and its English original of the same name did average business in the first week. It collected Rs. 0.70 crore on Friday. Collections almost doubled to Rs. 1.35 crore on Saturday, and went up to Rs. 1.60 crore on Sunday, taking its total for the first weekend to Rs. 3.65 crore. Collections during the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 0.50 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.40 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.35 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.35 crore. By netting Rs. 1.60 crore in the weekdays, its total for the first week went up to Rs. 5.25 crore.

The Sky Is Pink faced a fall of more than 70% in 2nd week. It started the second weekend by collecting Rs. 0.70 crore on Friday. Collections on Saturday and Sunday were Rs. 1.15 crore and Rs. 1.40 crore respectively so that the second weekend’s total went up to Rs. 3.25 crore. Collections during the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 0.55 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.42 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.38 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.30 crore. By netting Rs. 1.65 crore in the weekdays, the second week’s total went up to Rs. 4.90 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 20.15 crore.

War collected Rs. 21.35 crore in the third week. The third weekend started with a take of Rs. 3.05 crore (for the Hindi and dubbed versions combined). Collections increased to Rs. 4.70 crore on Saturday, and even more, to Rs. 6 crore on Sunday. In this way, the film netted Rs. 13.75 crore in the third weekend. Collections for the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 2.25 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 1.95 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 1.80 crore, Thursday – Rs. 1.60 crore. By adding Rs. 7.60 crore to its kitty in the weekdays, it took its third week’s total to Rs. 21.35 crore. The break-up: Hindi version – Rs. 19.85 crore, dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions – Rs. 1.50 crore. Grand total for 3 weeks: Rs. 309.35 crore. Breakup: Hindi version – Rs. 295 crore, dubbed versions – Rs. 14.35 crore. This is the third YRF film to cross the Rs. 300-crore mark, the earlier two being Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.

Dream Girl collected Rs. 0.95 crore in the sixth weekend, and Rs. 0.65 crore in the weekdays. By adding Rs. 1.60 crore to its kitty in the sixth week, the film took its grand total for 6 weeks to Rs. 140.35 crore.

Chhichhore added Rs. 0.38 crore to its kitty in the seventh weekend, and Rs. 0.22 crore in the weekdays. In other words, its total for 7th week was Rs. 0.60 crore. Grand total for 7 weeks: Rs. 147.61 crore.
