The Bombay high court on 9th November restrained Luviena Lodh, actress and ex-wife of producer Dimppy Ramdayal, from publishing, circulating or republishing defamatory comments and/or offending videos against/of actress Amyra Dastur. Amyra had claimed damages and an injunction over “defamation” against Luviena.
Justice P.K. Chavan said that Dastur’s averments in the plaint revealed that Lodh had been causing damage to her persistently, and continuously making defamatory and libellous statements on social media and electronic media.
