Jimmy Shergill, director E. Niwas and around 33 unit members were booked yesterday (27th April) by the Ludhiana police for defying COVID-19 norms while shooting for web series Your Honor. The unit had around 150 members. The series was being shot in a school at 8 p.m. although curfew started from 6 p.m.
A case was registered at the division number 1 police station under sections 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and 269 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) of the Indian Penal Code and section 3 of the Epidemic Diseases Act.
